Delete your AI Content Meter account and data

Steps to request account deletion

1. Open the AI Content Meter app or go to aicontentmeter.com.
2. Sign in to your account.
3. Go to Settings → Account (the "Your account" page).
4. Scroll to the Delete account section.
5. Tap Delete my account.
6. Confirm in the dialog — deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

You will be signed out automatically once deletion completes.

If you can't sign in

Email support@aicontentmeter.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Account deletion request". We verify ownership and delete the account within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

• Your account credentials and authentication record (email address, sign-in identity).
• Your profile record.
• Your scan usage records and daily quota history.
• Your subscription record stored in our app.
• Analysis history stored locally on your device (cleared when you sign out or clear app data).

Content you submit for detection (text, images, video, audio) is processed to produce a result and is not stored in a user-linked history on our servers.

Data that is kept, and for how long

• Payment and invoice records: retained by our payment processor (Paddle, our Merchant of Record) for as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically up to 7 years. These are not deleted by us.
• Security and abuse logs: anonymised or aggregated operational logs may persist for up to 90 days, and are not linked to your identity after deletion.
• Backups: encrypted database backups may contain your data for up to 30 days before they roll off automatically.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account also cancels any active Pro subscription. Billing stops immediately and no further charges are made. See our Refund Policy and Privacy Notice for more detail.
